Inspired by her training in women’s circle facilitation, Michelle created 3 offerings for transitional, celebratory times: Ceremony & Spells.

These delightful events are alternatives to bridal and baby showers - combining floristry, crystal healing, meditation and ritual to create beautiful spaces to evoke magic. We all have magic inside of us, we just need to remember.

A circle with a sacred centre is the oldest known form of organised social gathering. The first circles documented happened around 500 CE and have African roots. This is how communities would have come together to interact, eat, commune and pass down wisdom and stories. A place where all generations could unite and share in life. The circle can be found in every single ancient culture - an inclusive space for the whole community to belong.

A woman’s circle is a sacred and safe space created with intentionality - specifically for female folks to gather in solidarity and sisterhood.

What happens in a circle?

Circles are typically opened by one individual who encourages the group to connect as a sisterhood, and to share their wisdom and experiences - often around a particular theme. INDIRA Ceremony & Spells circles are designed to celebrate the transitionary times of marriage and birth.

In addition to communing over (non-alcoholic) drinks, there are often calming rituals during a circle. This can include the burning of cleansing herbs, group meditations, intention setting or sitting with an altar of meaningful objects. Aside from being all female, the format isn't set in stone, but music and singing are common.
